Royal Decameron Beach Golf & Casino

Very clean. There are many swimming pools to replace in the Pacific. (Lots of jelly fish) And for those who walk on the beach you will be served! The vegetation of the hotel is wonderful. I was in block 23 for lunch or dinner and go to the buffet Pacifico, people forget to walk there, and there is always room. The rainy season is coming soon, but it rains a hr or 2 a day. tropical rain no more ...

We toured jungle boat, but there was no crocodile to the Panama Canal. ILs dynamite to make it wider and crocodiles have disappeared ... in terms of 3.4 monkeys who eat on the boat, it is not worth the trouble to spend 100. why ... It's a great way to see Panama, but for one week it is not worth the trouble to type in 3 hrs waiting at the airport, 5 hrs of flight, 2 hrs bus. . But, for a stay of two weeks then yes it is much better!

Very nice site, very big. The pools are great .. traveling with two children is essential. The beach is beautiful and very long for the steps, it's not turquoise water but it is central america. Very hot, the clouds were welcome. Restaurants in excellent card and no problems booking. Staff very friendly, very helpful, excellent service. We had to change rooms due to a problem of variation of water (boiling jelly) extreme and we were relocated into "ocean front". Views and beautiful location. We stayed two weeks. Village not far Pénonomée bus (or taxi van) .. for the shopping is great, really cheap. In addition a big thank you to the three representatives on site Nolitours, excellent customer service.

The tours are mostly remote and last all day. With children is too long. We still went to the Valley of Anton (8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), one of the shorter. The water problem is common throughout the site. It was not as bad in the new room but still present. More difficult to manage for children, otherwise it's not the end of the world. Travel in Panama (February 23 to March 9, 2009) Airplane (Transat) We traveled with Air Transat. We are in our eighth trips and traveled with several different companies including Transat a few times. The flight time is 5:30. Service side we did nothing wrong, this is comparable to other carriers. However food side we were greatly disappointed. Have to go we were served a sandwich Quiznos egg with a drink and a cupcake and for the return we have served a small meal in a box of noodles and beef too salty; we did not eat my spouse and Me. Fortunately we had planned to bring us nuts and granola bars. We had 1 hour delay in takeoff and 45 minutes back but flights went well. Transfer hotel arrived at the airport of Panama the Customs Service is fast enough, then Nolitour representatives are present and guide us in how to proceed on luggage and transfer to hotel. Must have put a number on them to give us our luggage, we are then delivered to our room within about three hours after our arrival at the hotel (therefore provide a spare in your hand luggage). Later we embark on large buses (type coach) to get to our hotel. The journey time is 2h00 and we were hosted at the Royal Decameron. The bus ride is going fast enough, this is a guide on the bus and gives us information on the country, people etc.. In addition we are given an envelope for our ease upon arrival at the hotel. In short the approach is well organized and fast. Accommodation hotel rooms are simple and clean. We were located in block 34, we enjoyed because we were far from the disco as requested and in the center of the site. In the room there is no refrigerator, but you can rent one for $ 3.00 U.S. per day. It is also possible to rent a safety deposit box (highly recommended) for $ 2.00 U.S. per day. Iron and ironing board are also available for rent, although we have not had to use them. American money is king there, they do not take Canadian money and a U.S. dollar is equal to one Balboa (currency of Panama). However they have no paper money, only in pieces so it's the U.S. dollar paper that is used and they will hand you your change in Balboa (parts). One slight annoyance, when we took our showers around 18:30, there was a large variation in temperature so be careful with hot water. At the sound there is still room for improvement, however we asked for a corner unit and it was still better. Food There are two buffet restaurants and eight à la carte restaurants. In regard to the buffet, we went there especially for lunch and sometimes dinner. As for the buffet dinner we are going only once, the night we arrived. On all other nights we ate in restaurants a la carte. Although the appreciation of food is very personal to everyone and we have especially appreciated the Café Med restaurant (mediterranean), the restaurant Kontiky (fusion) and El Canal (fish and seafood). The restaurant Sushi Samba was also great for those who love Thai food but we did not like the Panamaï (Italian), the lasagna was pretty pasty, pink meat and smothered it fesait so hot in this restaurant (not air conditioned ). Against by other people we met them liked it, so AC is still very personal and according to personal taste. Nevertheless we believe we have eaten well and still come back with a 4 pounds more, so not so bad. Beach The beach is located on the Pacific side, the water is a darker blue than on the Caribbean beach but it is still big enough to take great steps and not to be packed like sardines. The water is not clear because the sand back on the return of the wave on the edge. The waves can sometimes be strong even if they look like nothing, be very careful to refer to the color of the flag on the beach near the lifeguard. The sand is white / beige and grain of sand is quite large and it becomes hot foot from about 11:00 so please bring your beach sandals. With respect to "stripes" (the fish not the crack) hi! Hi! Hi! For our part we have not seen any stripe, to our knowledge no incidents with stingrays have occurred during our stay. We found that people get up very early to reserve a "palapa" (small hut for protection from the sun). For our part we have chosen a day of shopping at "Hallbrook mail" one of the biggest shopping center of Central America (not very original I know!). The cost is $ 20.00 U.S. per person. Have left around 8:30 in the morning, have eaten at our expense for our shopping and return to the hotel takes place around 18:00. The Mall is very Americanized (like downtown), it contains a food court with all the restaurants known as Kentucky, Burger King etc.. We also took the tour Partial Transit of the Panama Canal (this time more typical of countries such as excursion) at a cost of $ 120.00 U.S. per person. This tour is meant to cruise the Panama Canal, which leads the Pacific side. It passes through two locks is that of San Michael, and that of Miraflores. We eat right on the boat and it's very good. Historical notions that we are told by a guide who speaks French are very interesting and rewarding. For lovers of pleasure boat you will be stunned and delighted on landing in the marina, there are boats of a few million dollars to dream. Not to mention, there is a duty free shop or you can purchase among other very good bottles of wine at reasonable prices for your dinner at the hotel; servers you lead with pleasures and without problems. Climate Heat! Heat! Heat! In 14 days it fell a few drops of rain no more, not even of showers. The temperature is about 35 to 38 degrees Celsius in the shade. However it is less humid than us and there is often a little wind that makes it very pleasant and tolerable. The morning sky is usually clear and unobstructed and in the late morning there are passages that remain cloudy until the afternoon and then it all clears. From 11:00 to 14:00 the people are the "siesta" and retires under the palapas as the sun beats lead. In the evening you have no need for a sweater because the temperature is very pleasant. Site Advisory disabled, this site is very large with lots of stairs and slopes. There are over 800 rooms and 250 villas side golf, therefore the site is immense. There are 9 pools, 11 bars 8 a la carte restaurants etc.. For those who find themselves in remote and Villas, a shuttle service is available at all times. There is a small local craft market on the beach to your right and a restaurant run by Canadians. To your left on the beach is facing the sea you can see the former home of Noriega if you market a bit. You can also visit the small village nearby within 10 minutes walk to the right (facing the sea) from the street behind the "lobbies". You will meet people, some small craft shops, restaurants and a convenience store a little later (after turning to the right) held by Asia where you can buy wine at a good price and better than the hotel or any other things. General Tips For reservations for a la carte restaurants you go to your lobby and at 7:00 in the morning you can take a number and wait until you are called to book a restaurant for that evening. Upon arrival you will be entitled to reserve three of the coup but later it's on a daily basis. So you understand that the first come first served basis and until everything is complete. If this is the case does not worry you can have dinner in one of two restaurants and buffets there are also some snacks on the site opened at different times. For those who wish to bring alcohol in Quebec, we suggest you wait and buy your bottles at the airport in Panama when you return because the price is the same if not more expensive in the hotel Duty Free Shop in Panama. So you go and save the extra weight in your luggage. Personal appreciation We loved our trip and the heat, the beach, the sun and the sea being the rendezvous. The site is large enough to satisfy every taste that you want to move, do water activities or a quiet corner, alone, in couples and families all find their account. We were there for a stay of two weeks and we strongly suggest you lose two days because certainly in view of flight time and 2 hours bus from the airport to the hotel not to mention the same time bus for all tours. We liked that we recommend to all and are even considering going back. The Royal Decameron is worthy of 4 stars no more no less for having done several others simply adapt to small inconveniences and come up with realistic expectations. Hopefully this summary and these tips will help. Beautiful complex, much vegetation, people are friendly, it's always nice and hot, but not wet. The cocktails are very good. Beer always served very cold. The breakfasts are good and diverse. For a la carte restaurant, the Kontiki and El Canal are very good. At the restaurant, in the rooms, all throughout the site is extremely clean.

Much too far for only 7 days holiday, 2 weeks prévoyés. There are some great trips but always at least 2 hours by bus. The water is not clear, I'm still bathed every day, there were no lines. There are two restaurants, buffets, they have different themes every night, but the food is ordinary.

Hotel Incredible! A week is not enough to enjoy all the restaurants in the cards. Giant pools! Each of the pools have its advantages. Not typical Caribbean beach ... pale beige with several shells. We have not seen any rays. Very large site. Get ready to make big steps ... Lots of stairs ... nothing too negative, but realistic! Many people Older ... And, even in majority ..

Beautiful scenery! Beautiful pools! Magnificent wildlife! Beautiful golf! It's worth it to go eat at Woody, a restaurant run by Ontario located just minutes walk from the hotel. The seafood is excellent!

We went to this place two years ago and it was spotless. We were disappointed this year in terms of food. - You can not take time to eat in restaurants in the map because of the many services (at Sushi Samba, we were crammed quickly because there was a service at 6:15, one at 8:00 ET another at 9:15). As employees are clean and redo the tables between each course, they give little time for customers to eat. - The best buffet (the finest restaurants and the food is higher) at Pacifico is not the Atlantis. We have always believed that the dressers were the same everywhere. Error! He must have a look in both places to see what tempts us most. and generally, it is quieter at Pacifico. We had a villa on the golf course # 10 (upper chamber) unfortunately we had no balcony and no terrasse.Aucun fridge in the Villa and have to pay $ 2.00 U.S. per day for safety deposit box and $ 3.00 pj for the fridge (no mention of this in the info on the hotel). furniture in the room was in a state pittoyable. Have had difficulty obtaining reasonable hours for our golf tee (the best hours are reserved for owners of villas). We went for the trip took 3 hrs by bus (return 02.15 hrs). Restaurants a la carte difficult to get reservations and given that there are services pls 18.30, 20.00 and 21.30, so we urge you to eat quickly. The house wine is absolutely mediocre. If you pay less than $ 1,000 for a week is okay but $ 1600 is a very bad choix.Finalement, attention to the fact that it is three parts by people, not 6 games for two people. in the same house, they wanted to charge me a 4th party even if my wife did not play golf ..... These are positive; The beauty of the site. The choice of a la carte restaurant. The excursions offered. The countless umbrellas and chairs available. Temperature hot even when it's cloudy. The cleanliness and swimming pools. It is true that the beach is less inviting than a package with turquoise water but it is clean and tidy. AND as the pools are on the beach, you will feel like in the sea ... I went there in 2006 and I note that there have been improvements over negative comments that I had then registered. Among others at the reservation restaurants and the noise at night. It is true that the journey is long but everything is well organized. There is information given to you in, bus and check-in will be done at your arrival. Great! The shows are funny and pleasantly situated. The atmosphere of the bars in the evening, and the casino, makes it all very pleasant. We loved the jungle boat! it's still definitely a place I would go back.

The rooms are clean although a bit of some kind. Bring your caps pcqu'il is no soundproofing. AND yes, your day of arrival and departure will longuessssssss. Maybe if you go two weeks, this detail seems insignificant ....
