Mazatlan

Mazatlan is a beach resort appreciated by travelers. This historic town is a good place that blends relaxation and discovery. A destination more frequented by west Canadian travelers and Americans; however, several Quebecers dare to taste the Mazatlan experience. It's a temperate destination compared to other large Mexican touristic sites. Mazatlan seduces with is animated town. An important port town, it's a place where you can procure a panoply of products in the diverse shops and boutiques. Evening venues, restaurants and bars shake up the downtown with its varietal musical; the image brings travelers abound to this spot. However, Mazatlan is not just a place of playful divertissement. A history, a culture and a developed kitchen are waiting just for you. In the downtown area there are numerous historical monuments to see. At Machado Square, musicians and merchants meet in a 19th century décor. The aquarium is definitely a must see; a site known for its numerous sharks and other species found there. Off of Mazatlan, you'll find an ecological reserve that shares three islands. Each island is unique and responds to particular needs. On the island of Pajaros, don't forget your camera. The birds there are abundant and several species are not to be over looked, notably the ibis and his curved beak. The two other islands are excellent places for relaxing on the dock or for nautical sporting. Mazatlan is a spectacular offer for nautical sport.
