Grand Marival

Very nice trip! After more than five hours (a little too long for my taste)! Everything went well at the airport except the people Sharing Time. We serve a small "Welcome Drink" and directs you to a counter and we talk about Nuevo Vallarta, where to go etc ... We offer a taxi to get to the hotel + a free trip only if you confirm that you go to lunch and pay $ 20 to reserve your spot. We said no thank you and left. It was a bit frustrating but good once out of the airport workers Nolitours / Transat welcome us, but eventually output only once. Returned to the hotel, check-in is quick. The rooms are fairly ordinary but clean. Maids change the sheets every day and they spend the mop every day also. The hotel is really clean. People work really strong. The food is good. For lunch, we went to Casa Bella restaurant for dinner we went to the pizza place. They have pizza wood oven pizzas and really good what about these nachos and guacamole um! The mediterranean restaurant I think this is the Pergola, delicious. The wine is horrible. Buy wine at duty free before leaving, seriously! The drinks are really good. I've never been disappointed. They taste all the same from one bar to another. The M & M bar, try the chocolate martini. The beach is very clean. It is true that the sun must wake up early, around 6:30 though. The people are very helpful, always smiling not at the beginning but good. I should mention that Vincent Nolitours is a kindness copy. I must say I have traveled more than a dozen times in the south and for me and all representatives should be like him. Do not forget the Mexican night, it's Tuesday night.

The food and drinks are good! The people are very helpful. The beach and the site clean. The team of animation.

The wine. Not much action in the evenings. Room look a little old but very clean.

We enjoyed our trip. Arriving at the airport, TMR told us that we had been upgraded. We were happy. We spent our week in a condo on behalf Marival Grand Marival Residences and not (10 minutes in between). Our condo was beautiful. For this situation we were treated to VIP service. Food restaurants that were on our site was excellent. We ate at the Italian restaurant and one that serves steaks. The food was good and the service was much too fast, it seemed that they were anxious to see us leave. We made two trips: Sierra Madre with Marilou (wildlife) and typical Vallarta with Xavier (history). We greatly enjoyed these guides. They knew what they were talking. As it was our first visit to Mexico, it allowed us to learn a lot about this country. We had great weather.

Excellent location and impeccable service (side condo) We really had a VIP section reserved for us on the beach (very popular).

The Marival is clean but due to the renovations. The hotel lobbies are not welcoming. The buffet restaurant is fashioned and the food is very ordinary. The a la carte restaurants are good the first time but when you come back everything is very plain. The wine is terrible. By cons, the site is beautiful outside, beautiful trees. It was offered to be up-grade to the Marival Residences for a surplus of $. The first week it made our case because c was beautiful, chic, great service, excellent food, good wine and very very very good service as the residences were almost empty. The second week they decided to up-grader full of people free to do promotion. The service has reduced by half, c was very frustrating for us because we had paid extra for the stay and that most others are the homes for free. C for sure I was not going back to this hotel or residences which have not been able to keep the service that they offered the first week.

The site is beautiful outside, the beach also.

The food is very ordinary and wine epouvantable.

Beautiful complex near the airport, three swimming pools including one for 18 years and over, long and beautiful beach, we like to walk there and we were spoiled, the sea is good too, no algae and no junk, beautiful sand. The a la carte restaurants are great, it was not for the buffet dinner, only lunch and dinner, good service ... the site and our rooms are clean, I advise to everyone, we had a room with a junior suite, room and share kitchen and living room with two bathrooms, it is convenient.

One comment to make, for beautiful hour for dinner with a la carte restaurants, ie around 7.30 - 8.00 pm you should make reservations directly on the internet site of the hotel, if the choices are about 6.00 - 6.30 or past 8.00 pm.

We arrived at the Grand Marival January 14, 2009. We were pleasantly surprised because it was a "last minute" for us and we asked for "sea view" and we were told we probably would not. Opening the bedroom door, what a nice surprise ... Coast to about 100 feet from the patio door. Great way to start a vacation! Everything was very nice. Temperature a little cooler early morning but as soon as the sun appears, and this heat arrives for the day. The beach I would have thought was not very nice very pleasant. The sand was very pale and you could walk for miles and miles blindfolded, so the beach is clean and equal while being immensely long. The a la carte restaurants were very good. Pergola just that I would fault the temperature is too cold. The buffet was lacking a little variety but was still very clean and pretty good overall. The pools are heated to about 90c. You can not ask for more and although this is a family hotel, there is still a quiet pool for 18 years and over. As for the vegetation, I would say that plants are lush and beautiful trees is remarkable. These are mature palms and healthy. They have several branches. I saw many palm dates since we are in our sixth trip south, but I would say it was the finest I have ever seen. We went on a tour to see the mountains and it was great. The mountains to the sea .. what a beautiful wedding ... I will certainly return to this hotel because my husband and I liked the place very much!

The negative comment was that I would perhaps shows at the theater. It was pretty ordinary. Let we preferred to walk on the seaside or around swimming after dinner.

We are in three visits to the Grand Marival .... We love this place because the size of the site is very well .. At least for us, ideal for rest and relaxation. The beach is wide and long, to take steps .. The rooms, service, bars, everything is OK ........ But ..... but there are always,,,,, hi hi

We have been accustomed to this hotel has a la carte restaurants (top quality) both in terms of choices that taste .... but this year we were a bit disappointed .... listen very good anyway,,, , but not excelling as before,,,, have felt they were saving of candle-end. The steak house always closed in this period as last year and we knew it ....... so Italian, Mexican, and international was worse. But I tell you, we will return next year anyway. ....
