Ocean Breeze Riviera Maya

I went to this hotel from March 12 to 19. This is a small hotel, which is part of a huge complex, including the Mayan Palace, which we have access to the pools (which by the way are absolutely gorgeous), the buffet restaurant (Del Lago), and a section of the range that is reserved for customers of Ocean Breeze. It is essential to know what to expect when booking this hotel. First, it is isolated, very intimate, the staff are generally very friendly, there is a pool, small but very nice. In fact, everything happens near the pool, this is where the bar (the only one of the hotel) and the restaurant. There is no animation. Meals are "on board" (except lunches). The food is excellent. The menu is fairly limited but we can have dinner at Del Lago Buffet, the Mayan Palace. This buffet is worth mentioning. It is located in a huge hut, near a small lake. The food is varied and delicious. There is an evening show at 8:00, on a stage in the middle of the square. The vegetation is beautiful throughout the complex. We must take a shuttle to go to the Mayan Palace facilities and beach. But the shuttles often pass, expected very little. It should be mentioned that the beach is very rocky and not swimmable, even with shoes. You can take a shuttle to go to Playa Del Carmen (it costs $ 5 per pass), the beach is really beautiful. The shuttle leaves us at Walmart, one must walk 5-6 minutes to get to the beach. Surely he must be well informed before booking here. When you know what to expect, it's very nice. It is important not to go there to party or to the beach! We did a very nice trip.

the beach does not have not done this swim 10 minutes walk and you find a really nice beach ... the beach is a 25 min walk but shuttle service which shall not take that 5 minutes to make long awaited never no more that was really good 10min c.
