Majestic hotel extremely clean and very beautiful. The rooms are very large and clean without reproach. The pool is spectacular, very high. Food side, we were satisfied with the buffet and a la carte restaurants in general. We tried the Japanese restaurant (our cook looked "bored" of his work), the steak house (I have never seen a server so confused! But it started!) And the gourmet restaurant (good food) . We took a trip to Dunn's rivers and enjoyed the experience. Despite the temperature that was not on our side, the sea water was warm and clear.

This hotel is not recommended for people looking for white sandy beaches of sight. The beach is actually quite limited and there are coral and small rocks that give feet hurt those who have no sandals. Despite the fact that we have met members of staff who were very friendly, we can not say that this is the case with most people who work there. Also, if you go on trips outside the hotel, you expect to be downright harassed by salesmen trying to sell you their stuff. Eventually, it gets really irritating ...

The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean and the pool is big and beautiful. The buffet is good but for a 5 * but it could be better. We ate very well for a la carte restaurant, we made the Don Pablo (chateaubriand), Japanese and Steak House (steak). STEAK HOUSE at my wife had a surf and turf and I do not recommend it because we could not determined the kind of meat that accompanied the shrimp non-husked lolllll. The rooms are very nice and big. Next activity, we made the river's dun and loved, it was a great experience and we had a lot of fun. Oh I forgot, impeccable service of Jacques and Isabelle of Air Transat.

Negative side, the first beach, for those who want a beach like Cuba or the Dominican Republic will be disappointed because it is very small and we need water shoes for walking. It's clean, the pool is huge and well maintained. The à la carte dinners are excellent and we laughed the menu translated by computer. In one of the menus we read, in English: ranch salad dressing in French: ranch dressing for salad and I'd say it's the least worst. In some menus, we had to read in English in French and Spanish and finally to order our meal, it was imcompréhensible. I do not put it in the negative comments because we laughed heartily at each of the four a la carte meals. The Black River Safari and Nature Tour Appleton Estate is a trip of 13 hours is a long time, but it was worth it. We saw the hinterland (south coast), visited the YS Falls, Appleton Rum factory, then a mangrove populated crocrodile and I would say that Colonel seated back to Kentucky can go with his chicken. I participated in no activities included so I can evaluate this. But the music was shit. I regret that Jamaica does not generate more reggae than that. But that I had read before leaving. The maid was not very cheerful. Many have found that staff did not seem very happy. Excursion in Ocho Rios Dunn's River: It took us up the falls in record time as if the guide had been competing with someone else. We were exhausted and discouraged at the idea of ??continuing the other section of the falls. We did not t have time to watch and enjoy the beauty of the place. The guide gave us in just 30 minutes which should have taken 50 to 60 minutes. At one point we gave up in the middle of the falls and went nowhere. Another guide had us in a safe place until our guide back to us. Then coming out, it was possible to make purchases at several kiosks but impossible to do. We were literally shoved and assaulted. We put objects in the hands and we were prevented from leaving. We had to buy something that lets us go. I'm still angry just thinking about it. It's very unpleasant. People are really sticky, a smile from my niece and they are in our shoes. All we wanted was to leave the site. I am the souks in Bali, Morocco and Tunisia and I would say that Dunn's River is the worst. I do not understand let them. This is very bad for business. Several people took it the morning of shopping in Ocho Rios. Well they were locked up in a shopping center until the bus renvienne get them. They have also been attacked on all sides. What a great trip ... GOLDEN package we were and we did nothing wrong. The hotel service very good, staff is correct and polite, the food is excellent, the rooms are nice and clean and all have a sea view we were in the rainy season which means that the the sun was gone until about 2:00 p.m. then a cloud, parcontre the next day the same scenario so in summary the sun all day with a Humidex was the temperature at about 40 degree. The sea water was 89 degrees and the huge pool the same thing. The resort is beautiful and the site is very clean and safe. Finally if you traveled with vac. Transat Jacques it is the Gran Bahia hotel, guests are pampered, this is a nice guy who will look after you with great kindness and patience. Bon Voyage to those who leave.

it's a bit far from the airport (90 minutes) but for those who enjoy guided tours you will be served ... and a week is not long!

very nice hotel, friendly and courteous staff, nice pool, restaurant a la carte though, have made up 3 star to 5 star and this one is a 4 and a half. nice room and comfortable bed. excursions to dunn s river has to

no place for beach lovers. buffet for a good five star but have already seen better. that difficult to have reservations for a la carte restaurant

Absolutely own a hotel, always somebody somewhere who has rubs, the food is very good (buffet) we tried the a la carte steak house, absolutely delicious! there snac a beach bar with a band every day! Jamaicans are very nice super smiling, a peerless service, we don 't ever expect from a buffet, the service is incredible! there is even a band before the lunch buffet, they all sing! and they have a dialect, it's Yaman! we have traveled many places and we loved Jamaica! we made one activitée, that is falling, that is not so great as people say but just transport with Marlon (Brando the bus driver) really worth the trouble, it was he who made the party!

the beach! ouff .. The entertainment at night was non-existent. Too much Spanish entertainment. They need more Jamaican flavor so that people feel like they are in Jamaica.

Very nice hotel. Very large and very clean. Spotless. The staff is friendly and very nice. The food was excellent, especially the restaurant Mikado (Japanese). The pool is huge and very clean. Snorkeling excursion to take with that of the hotel, it's cheaper and you can see many fish and a sunken ship. Dunn River Falls excursion: Fantastic!

The beach is quite rocky in places, but we knew before we left. Spectables the evening, I have seen that I was very disappointed, so I'm not back the other night. I went, rather the main bar and listen to music (jazz piano).

New hotel-class golden appreciated. Friendly staff and good service. Cleanliness. Variety of food.

Do not expect the beach of Varadero or Punta Cana. The wine served with meals should be changed.
