Nice hotel, but cleanliness is poor. Lack of staff. This hotel is not ready for North American standards of cleanliness.

Spacious and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff.

Maintains weak. Bins are picked up from the beach 2 times a week only. The sheets were not changed even for 2 weeks. Obvious lack of staff to clean. HOTEL: The hotel is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The site is also clean and well located 10 min. walk from Central Park. There are water slides for children and the largest. We visited the Hotel Villas Telamar of 19 to 26 January 2012. We were in the new section of the hotel with a mountain view. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and being able to walk safely in the town of Tela. We did two excursions during our stay. One, including the botanical garden and the village of Miami (Garifuna Village) with a walk in the lagoon and the other to visit the city of San Pedro Sula with a stop at the crocodile farm and banana plantation. In both cases, our two guides, and Chantal Émy we did enjoy our tours.

The rooms in the new part are large and very clean. Honduran good service staff who always have a beautiful smile. The pool is beautiful with beautiful water slides and beach, there is always enough chairs and staff installs shelter for the sun. The site is clean and lacks nothing. I really enjoyed my trip, temperature excursions, employees, the site of Villas Telamar, the town next door. Some Hondurans on the beach that sell, but there are not too, and they leave us pretty quiet, so it was okay.
