Natura Park Hotel

Stay from 6 to 20 February 2012 ... I thought it was a nice resort, beautiful vegetation and well maintained, full of birds, the seaweed on the beach to the left is better, when takes a walk on the seafront messy, trashy ... We had snorkeling almost every day for 2 weeks we went snorkeling to the left of the hotel with bread to fish this great state ... . We made two trips the contry adventure that I do not recommend very disappointed for the price .... and the island saona but it was better return by speed boat (a boat rather has two engines) was painful in the big waves ... we were 4 to having back pain the next day .... the buffet is ordinary ... we had to wait to sit down, we thought it would be in Montreal on a Friday night with queues .... too many people not waiting their turn .... I liked the steak house restaurant at a very good map angus steak excellent Italian is blah and the seafood was good ... my salmon of good service bars .... the room was fine ... no more near the lobby a lot of noise ... we imagined this resort more relaxing than ca .... lots of people everywhere .... I think we prefer cuba by far for the people and tranquility .... The only thing that is better in this republic is the food ...

Very nice place though the storefront should be redone because it needs a facelift. The temperature is mignifique but very windy. The site is not too large. We do not need to take shuttle buses to go to the beach, which is a very good point. Even if plenty of people, the staff of the buffet is organized so that there is no waiting, good turnover of food. Everything is well prepared: the lobby, buildings, driveways to get there, the restaurants etc. ... Very nice hotel although many negatives to see below, but it was still a nice trip since met people very sympatic.

In terms of cleanliness is excellent. The staff is smiling. The sand of the beach is great and beautiful palm trees. The room is large with many amenities. Beautiful balcony for coffee in the morning. The buffet food is varied although say people. If they find that lack of variety is that they take the same things. Have to try something new. The restaurants in the cards are almost a 5 * here. Trees and flowers are well entrenus. Every day, the Dominicans spend the rake and clean the site properly.

The sea, not that it is not maintained. The waves bring back so many algae, they (employees) pick up the damn salad all day without arrêt.Ills work very hard. But it remains difficult to swim. In terms of snorkeling, I do not see or we can do. The sale should be limited on the beach. They are so present and ......... harcelents. The solicitation and at hotels wholes, is omnipresent. There must be at the very least twenty boats in front of the hotels that are walking, sometimes with a parachute, sometimes with bananaboat, helicopters, catamaran ......... They ask us on earth, in water and in the air. As for wine ......... infects. We forget that. Whether red wine, white, sparkling ...... if you want to drink, to be bought. It's funny, when people have finished dinner, the wine glasses are always full. By cons, they sell. He yes even at the buffet. So when they say all inclusive ...... must add the price of wine or drink pepsi. Another thing that was bad ..... music. No music anywhere and when we managed to get, it's American. No local music at least, at this hotel. One last point ......... dégatif prices. If you're ever been to Cuba, we realize that in the Republic, the price of things you can buy is 3-4 times more expensive than in Cuba. We must negotiate with them very tight. Kind a bottle of Mamajuana which is $ 35. American, we have negotiated up to $ 10. $ 45 for a dress. (Theft) traded at $ 20. So if you do not turn the "dealer" Remember ca. By cons, if you are a small group (4 people) go to small flea market in nearby off-site. It's worth it but again, they are harcellants and attention, if you negotiate something at the beginning and you do not buy, they phone to tell them the price negotiated for the not too down.

If you're used to all inclusive, avoid this resort! Where to start? We booked this hotel based on reviews from people hoping to make a good choice quality / price. This was our first time in the Dominican Republic. We traveled several times in the south for the past 10 years (Cuba 3 times, 6 times Mexico, Honduras 2 times) all in all included in that small B & B. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the airport. Upon arrival, the manager at the counter told us that our room was not ready and had to wait 45 minutes before the news. He was responding to several customers at once instead of settling a case at a time, giving us the impression he had finished with us, but no. After an hour and a quarter waiting in the lobby, an employee escorted us to our room by taking the small suitcase on wheels and leaving us trasnporter our suitcase of 22 kg by hand. It did not offer to use a cart to bring our suitcases. By directing us to our room, he realizes that the room we reserved was changed and he must turn around to go to the new address. After climbing three flights of the hot weather and still dressed in uniform of Montreal, one realizes that the room has two beds of small sizes. We had specifically asked for a bed (queen or king) to sleep in the same bed and not to sleep apart! The employee then phone reception and we answered that there would be a room with a king bed available tomorrow at 14:00. Okay. So we begin to change us to go for a walk on the beach and we get a call from reception telling us that they finally have a room on the ground floor with a king. We will visit the first and the room is a bit old, but we take it. We realize that there is an elevator in the building allowing us to get our luggage. It would have been nice to know before you get all three floors! Finally made our third room, we realize that the toilet does not work, air conditioning not working and the refrigerator does not cool!! The toilet is extremely small! We are two small people and we had to compress the legs to close the sliding door when we were sitting on the toilet! There were traces of mold on the edge of the bath and the shower curtain does not slip. Really disappointing compared to our minimum expectations! Once even entering the room I met a boyfriend from 5 cm long with beautiful entennes. It is said that small bugs do not eat fat, but I was sure it was to eat us all round for the night ... la cucaracha! We then ask for a room immediately functional and it is only two days later we had a decent room in which we ended our vacation. Other points to note: - there is a $ 24 USD / week if you want a key to the vault - Of the three rooms we visited, the first two were smoking rooms - only a bottle of water person per day in the mini bar with a Coke and 7up - There is no iron in the rooms. We must ask the front desk to get one. - The cleanliness of the site is poor: small ponds resemble advantage of odorants rather than Marsh Ponds - There are LOTS of seaweed on the beach as much as the surface on the edge. Algae on the waterfront are rammassées 2 or 3 times a day - Space for swimming is very small and the water is dirty and smells of gasoline near the water sports center - boats spend way too close to the swimming area and do not slow - WARNING - if you leave the boundaries of the hotel on the left, you find more quiet and the beach is a little nicer, but beware of broken glass and passing boats less than 10 meters from the shore! - The hotel staff is not smiling (bartenders, servers) with the exception of the hostesses at restaurants and some used. For your reference, we are two people who wear our smiles constantly, so I do not think the problem was with us. - Few choices for bars (three types of juice only) - Vendors are rough night with the people and very very very harassing - IF YOU ARE NON-SMOKING, avoid this hotel at all costs. Smokers do not respect non-smoking areas except for restaurants. However, the main buffet is stuck on the lounge full of smokers - a LOT of children everywhere. It's good for the family, but the smallness of the single pool, they become bulky - The cleanliness of the beach is very poor. It is difficult to walk from the beach at the resort without stepping on a piece of plastic straw that was not rammasé and there are cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. We believe that people could use a plastic cup as an ashtray. - If you like snorkeling or diving, do not be tempted. There is almost no fish and corals are really disappointing. There are also lots of sea urchins on the beach in strips of seaweed. CAUTION not to set foot on it! The hotel has really been below our expectations across the board and it is certain that we will not be back. We even made the request to change hotel after three days, but the cost was convincing enough to take our troubles patiently and sleeping on the beach for two weeks. THE ONLY GOOD POINT POSITIVE that we give to the Dominican Republic: it was 35C and no clouds at all day. Do not hesitate to pay $ 100-200 more for your stay of two weeks to a better hotel than the Blau Natura Park. See some photos in support.

Thank you god, the temperature was perfect. For the hotel, a big blah. 1 week without coffee pot, a lock change that lasted 3 hours a night (and yes - we changed the lock and left the key in it ... not much!), A service-Cousi cousa. A wireless that works when you're stuck on it (but still charging $ 55 / week). The food - blah. Ok I've seen better. I've seen worse. The rooms are outdated but hey, we knew it. Still, for the price it was ok. Y back - never.

We spent a wonderful week of January 22 to 29, 2011. Everything was perfect, temperature, food, beach, pool and staff.

We went to the 3 a la carte restaurants (Steak, Seafood and Italian) and everything was excellent. The pool is beautiful, the sand is white, the room was large and clean, the site is very beautiful with its vegetation and birds. We went to a show and it was only the circus, very very good! The staff is very friendly and many speak French.

we spent a wonderful week at the Blau Natura Park. This is the fifth time I've stayed here and I must admit that the food at the buffet has improved a lot. it is very good. service is excellent, the staff friendly. but good points.

No sorry for people looking for the negative.
