We stayed at the Catalonia Royal from January 6 to 20. C is a small site but very clean and very quiet.

The rooms are spacious and impeccables.Aucun insect or mildew. Spacious shower with shower bar and shower head, powerful and has plenty hot. What about restaurants in the evening at Blue Sea there are crawfish cooked on the grill absolutely delicious. In Catalonia Bavaro, the 4 a la carte restaurants that are worth it to go, especially the steak house. The beach is fairly large and very clean. Many chairs, small tables and ashtrays for smokers. No problem for the shadow. There is plenty of palm trees and palapas. Change of beach towels in your room and it all day. A beach party once a week. For people who want to find a place to breathe the excellence the ideal is Catalonia Royal in every way, it is impossible to descrivir the excellence of its services and its staff gentilesa your Restorante Thalasa where you feel truly at a grand hotel and the quality and variety of dishes from breakfast till dinner is extraordinary and for which you want the most pleasant extravagance are also the two restorantes next to the beach where you feel like a king is really very little that one can criticize and has to be very hard to please if it is not good in that place vilegiatura, greetings to all general staff for the care they have for everyone in general and the leaders who do everything and are always accessible to all types of comment so that you feel good, for couples on honeymoon is the most wonderful place they can choose. Staff very helpful and friendly. Chamber of fine quality and well entrtetenue. Good quality food on the side with a Royal but limited variety. Average quality food Bavaro side. The hotel is working hard to clean the beach of seaweed found there all day long and usually they réussisent exceptions. Royal wine side is quite passable and the drinks are good and come in a fairly wide range. The gardens of the Royal side are new and rudimentary while the Bavarian side gardens are mature and beautiful. The pool is quiet and the Royal offers quality drinks. That of the Bavaro side is very beautiful but noisy and offers drinks even when very dilute application of pure rum (lots of water, sugar and rum). The beach offers beautiful scenery. The Royal side palapas are many and far between. The beach bar is lovely and the staff outstanding. The hotel will be a 4.5 if the expansion is completed. The construction noise during certain troublesome customers. We have not really suffered.

This is the only hotel (one of 25 or more we know) that requires to humans, closed shoes in its a la carte restaurants. Women can wear what they want. Sandals made of high quality leather for men (no beach sandals) are rejected, while shoe range "crock" or "running" fluorescents are accepted because they are closed shoes. Oddly, the representative TMR supports the hotel by saying that the word "attire" in the brochure TMR involves closed shoes. Under this interpretation, I could not wear leather sandals in Montreal. I told TMR: "clearly indicate the details of the dress code and people can choose the hotel knowingly because it is too late to learn once there." I must say in defense of the hotel the manager of the Royal solve the problem very acceptable. Wine of the Bavaro side is "infected" even for customers who have paid to Royal superior quality even in the a la carte restaurants. Drinks from the bar side main Bavaro have the same characteristics as the drinks by the pool Bavaro little or no choice, extreme dilution bottles and brand trafficked (local drinks instead of what the label says).

We stayed at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro April 26 to May 3, 2008. Our wholesaler was Sunwing Vacations. It was a dream holiday. This hotel is without doubt the best all inclusive we visited. Guests of Catalonia Royal Bavaro can enjoy all the services of the hotel nearby the Catalonia Bavaro Resort and Casino which is much larger and more animated. By cons, they can not go on the website of Catalonia Royal Bavaro. In short, by choosing this hotel, you get the benefits of each of the hotels. If you want action, you are going through in the big brother and if you want luxury and relaxation, you stay in the Royal side. Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Free Internet, a wonderful a la carte restaurant (Thalassa) where we are treated with kid gloves. You can go every night if desired. The sustenance there is really very good. We also played on the 2nd land owned by the hotel which is a 9 hole (Catalonia Cabeza de Toro) and it is located directly on the site of the Catalonia Bavaro Resort and Casino. $ 10 to rent clubs and Cart's free. There is also another nine holes next door. We did not play because it is a par 3. Ocean & beach: the beach is beautiful. There a bit of seaweed but all employees gather every day. There are algae in the water and small waves there. In short, I have already seen better but I've seen worse. For my part, I found the beach and the sea correct. Sunwing vacation: We did nothing wrong. The destination agent was very nice. The flights went well and were on time. This was our 2nd trip with them this year and I recommend them to anyone. Staff: The staff is always smiling and Hola are waiting for you. The clientele is varied on these two resorts. Several countries are represented. The vegetation is superb. In short, you can book the two eyes closed at Catalonia Royal Bavaro. The only negative we found is that the pools close early in the early evening. But since there are so many things to do, they can be forgiven! This is the 2nd hotel chain Catalonia we visit and they are our two favorite resorts. Go ahead, book before the Hotel is full!
