Wow! What a great trip. Incredible site. The Cuban people are very hospitable and endearing. Very clean. We had a villa on the lagoon. Fantastic room. NO SCENT on the lagoons. It seems that the water was treated. I recommend these villas. Kept in mind that you are in Cuba and eat well. This is not Quebec, but we can not say we have a bad meal. There are not many. The large site and you will walk a lot. (About 8 minutes walk from the villas and the lobby). But on vacation it does not change much. SEAFOOD the restaurant you are offered lobsters for $ 22 CUC. Do not pay for it it is not worth the trouble. Obtez rather for lobster buffet offered free on Thursday.

The beach was beautiful and it was gorgeous. The Italian and steak grill resturants we have offered our best meal of the week, even though the food was average to good. The service however was very nice. Site very quiet, we were able to enjoy it to rest ...

The buffet food was very very very ordinary or even mediocre. No identification difficult to know what we were eating. The food at the snack bar was not much better. The international restaurant (a la carte) outside by the pool was totally disgusting. to be avoided ... The maintenance of the room was ordinary despite tips and gifts. The towels were not changed regularly, we have found even extended outside our room at once. Section was very smelly lagoons (smell rarely maintained public toilet). No mosquitoes, but watering products (pesticides??) 2 times a day with small yellow planes (very loud and very persistent odor). Free beach activities almost nonexistent and lack of enthusiasm of the leadership team. The excursions were expensive and far away: unattractive. This was my third trip to Cuba, but the first in Cayo Coco. I will not repeat the experience and I do not particularly recommend this hotel. There are much better.

Wow, buffets offer variety and quantity most Dutemps, the a la carte restaurants very good but portions are small, the bars are great and the bartenders hyper sympatic (take the time to chat with Ideal, Ruben, Yjorkianda and Co.) , a bartender near the market near the main stage gives a wonderful spectacle worthy of the film "Cocktail", all the staff are friendly (except one) and super friendly even the gardeners who work very hard (so give them a peso or two they deserved), have a look at the discoteque "the cave" (bus service available to get there around 11 pm) but remember to take some tylenol coming back if you are still able to walk ... We were staying just ahead of the main pool and the animation is very funny day and friendly (darts competitions, karaoke, dance, timing a rum punch or two ...) and Spanish dance classes on site Two scenes show (different each day of the week), musicians and singers throughout the site are very good, rooms very clean, beautiful beach, lots of restaurants and bars everywhere, really the top. The site is so great that one week we were not able to do everything and see everything. On site: medical clinic, massage, hairdresser, convenience store, souvenir shop, disco, currency exchange, tour desk, bar, restaurant, cigar lounge ...

The beach ... there are plenty of empty glasses lying around ... but the staff is not to blame ... it is rather lazy and tourists who do not care concsience mess. Marcel who works in reservations for a la carte restaurants in Laguna sleeping gas. No smile no charisma .... he is not in its place.

This was our first trip and we LOVED! The beach is beautiful and the site is enchanteur.Nous loved walking the site especially at night, houses and restaurants on pilottis are illuminated and the view is magnificent. (Can be just during the day or the water is dirty and pilottis a low odor .. but nothing to be alarmed if you do not sleep there ..) We had some favorites: the buffet next to Laguna was our favorite, there were many varieties and it was always excellent service. (the Cuban restaurants are rotated so they talk and you recognize.) we give the good service and five pesos for lunch and sometimes dinner one peso. (they also love when you tried to speak Spanish ..) the a la carte restaurants are excellent (we had 5) big crush on El Gallo (Cuban) lunch they serve burgers, calamari excellent, everything is open then you feel like eating out and it is very good (at night too, different atmosphere) on El Malecon was our favorite (seafood) in white, nice atmosphere and good wine. We also loved the VIP. In fact the only disappointment for us was the steak house .. a little overcooked and chouigneux for me, but nice restaurant. TIPS: Leave a peso in the fridge you will never miss anything, go in the morning wearing a pair of sandals on your chairs because later it lacked space, bring a thermos (+ big + and + cold and goes just as in ti a plastic cup. We had a room in the Emperador section 45, the room was nice and always clean, we had a bottle of rum and every day, 2bieres, 2jus, water bottle each day and liqueur.à beautiful deco swans on our bed, and towels changed everything ... oh yeah .. I forgot the favorite bars for the bar near the small craftsmen (Laguna side) the bartender is like the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise .. it launches bottles and ice and gives a good show every night .. the atmosphere is perfect, we also loved the Emperador lobby, large chairs and confos the correct servers. We had a day and a half Rain and in general it was quite windy, but the truth is without the wind we would have cooked, so it was appreciated. We're going the last days of spring break and no problems, many families and couples, but very quiet. We did not try activities from the beach, but it was in demand and very accessible. It is possible to take bikes and go around the other resorts on the island (interesting to see differences in hotels and all) You can rent skooters and do tricks to caleche and train. We also heard of a bar built in a cave or train takes you and brings you back, not go but it appears that CEST great . We learned a lot by talking to other tourists, it is they who gave us tips and advice that has served us well. We recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday with family or couple friends and enjoy the weather and what the good life! We took two tours, the first was a new formula .. boat ride (in fact a favorite chaloupe.mais end.) visit Morone and Ciego de Avalon. The novelty was the hour, we left around 1:00 pm to return at 9: oo at night. We were only 2 with a driver and a Spanish-speaking guide not only French and English) in a suspension without westfalia old and very uncomfortable. Beautiful place, nice and clean. The sea and beach were beautiful. We had a great week of February 3 to 11. Our room in block 14 on the 2nd, very clean and great view. The buffets well enough anyway to Cuba. The a la carte restaurants very well, especially Italian. Good service at all bars. The lobby was very welcoming, beautiful place to relax and enjoy a cappuccino or a drink and chat. The cigar lounge was really great, good atmosphere, great Brazilian coffee. The evening shows were very ordinary by cons. The nightclub not so bad. We made two trips, one in the cities of Moron and Ciegos di Avila, which was fine, but the cities are really dirty and suspicious people. The other was at the beach Pilar, the most beautiful beach of cays, and it's true. We did the snorkeling, wonderful, full of beautiful fish and coral. Then we ate lobster on the island, it was fantastic. Staff and organizers very friendly and very good service from them. In conclusion, very good trip, very satisfied, very recommendable.

We arrived around noon and our room was not ready. It was only 5:00, but we left our suitcases in the lobby, put our jersey and still enjoy the whole day ... must laugh. And even during that time we took an hour to book our a la carte restaurants, so it was set for the week. Was also a buffet that the toaster was not working and only half there was only a ... then we forgot the toast for the week ... also lacked fruit ... but hey. These are small details that we just do while on vacation with ... no?
