March 2013 - for a week at the Barcelo Puerto Plata with Nolitours - Travel disappointing .... we changed rooms 3 times in 4 days. The first time, too much humidity in the room, the second time we stayed next to the disco playing until 4:00 in the morning, the third, the air conditioning did not work and a lot of water on the floor. Old building, food mediocre and boring. For à la carte restaurants - forget it, not worth 5 cents. Not enough chairs or towels at the pool and beach. Staff not smiling and poor service except maids. Not recommendable. I will not go back again!! Not worth more than 2 stars!

Beautiful beach .... And the level of cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms - quite well.

Hotel tres bruyante!

The food

Can not sleep! Very strong music and people screaming all night to mattresses as old as the hotel. Besides not sleeping you need to get up later in the morning to go 7H reserving chairs at the pool or beach because at 7:30 you forget ca forcing you to sit by terre.Le buffet service can not talk about it because there is none.

Hello all, my stay was 15 days barcelo, the temperature of February was superb. Regarding the site not asseé chairs, palapas, if you're feeling peckish or the taste of a cup of coffee late in the evening it is not possible to get up early no coffee before 7am am I had to change rooms after only two days because water had flooded the 2nd floor bathroom, the second bedroom has happened has had a fridge deffectueux more awake this morning was 4hrs with cockroaches. The nouritures was not so bad but still a chance the same menus as the sun was now, for my part I would never go back to this Hotel for me it is rated as 3-star maximum wholesale. Hotel very noisy late at night not one I would spend the rest 200 to $ 300 more for the best.

Superb, we travel from February 20 to 27. The perfect temperature, the food very diverse, many Entertainment! We loved it.

The hotel is well maintained and the correct food compared to other resort. The a la carte restaurants are ridiculous. Except for the scenery is magnificent food from the map is far from what it says. Sushi with cheddar yellow center ... a real joker! The room smelled of damp and moisisure and security guards was completely motionless in front of a hysterical woman knocking on all the doors Complex. Revelers talking loudly in the corridor it does not bother me but for me to be attacked by a hysterical woman no no.

The food in the buffet is correct, try new tricks. There is a wide variety of dishes. They even used the Lobster dinner for 2 times during our stay. The male staff is very friendly and courteous.

It lacks chair. I do not understand the reservation system beach chair that I find completely unfair. There are 50% of the chairs that are constantly booked and people do not tip as 1 hour on the beach. It's really not well thought out. The à la carte restaurants are really worth. Female employees can be really more stupid than men.

Firstly, I do not know what to write about my stay at the Barcelo Puerto Plata. It was not my best resort but it was far from the worst. I evaluate as a good 3 ½ stars, nothing was spectacular but was as expected or even better. The hotel is showing its age but it is very well maintained, I also passed several workers (painters, electricians, etc.) who were busy servicing the hotel. The room was a good size with a double bed, sitting area, bathroom and a second bed put in the room for double occupancy (although it carry off almost all the space in the lounge area). The buffet food was good but I was disappointed somewhat restaurants "à la carte" and the asking price for the lobster and shrimp is absurd for All Inclusive resort. I had the club where I feature as a good choice if he does not too expensive, I paid $ 50 for the week and it's worth the price, the spa was wonderful to finish the afternoon and concierges Premium Club are a splendid job. The beach is long and beautiful with water somewhat blurred, there are several vendors on the beach but they have never bothered me, a simple no thank you and they went on their way. The main pool is a good size with a nice "swim-up bar." My only complaint that I have to do on the beach and the pool is the number of chairs and palapas available. We even got some mornings at 8:00 and chairs were already almost fully booked, those under the palapas were reserved for the day (the hotel should do something to counter this problem.) Upon reflection, I would stay here again and I would opt for the premium club.

We went in mid-September and it was really hot. (Almost no clouds and rain of the week). Period with 75% local. We like it or not, but the prices are ridiculous at this time it.

Clean, good buffet but not much variety. The a la carte restaurants are very good and pretty good. Staff fun, they give a lot in the show. Outdoor disco near Page, us it was a quiet time for cons. Not many people in the resort. The pool water was very hot.

The singer is a bit cheesy and not very motivated. Our air conditioning worked very badly. The nearby cities are great to visit. Small beach sand less beautiful than Cuba, too many sellers for the amount of tourists.

This is a complex that is getting older but still clean enough. The value for money is still good. Privileged place for young people who want to party. The staff is just okay, it must be very specific in our requests.

This is a place to avoid if you want to sleep well. the disco at the beach begins at 23 am and ends between 5 and 6 am. So music and noise of revelers every night and room not soundproof at all. The window in the shower is kind of blind and gives in the corridor and it is the same for the door of the bathroom, so no way to mitigate the noise.

Very noisy + + + + with the university vancouver bars had three rows of thicknesses imposible to have a drink. The young people spent the night has deboit celebrate, talk, gueler in our wooden windows and the room has the side c.étaient Romba. At 6 am j, had to ask the police if I set off again in Canada. Change rooms the next day but the music and the show was a side of the room. I mention a quiet place and I know that some inconvenience has been experienced by several customers.
