Cabarete and Sosua are two charming cities near each other. Cabarete is the perfect place to enjoy the waves, go surfing or windsurfing, and to enjoy the beach. Sosua is better represented as a little animated city where it's good to have a drink when night comes. Complimentary cities, finally!
At Cabarete, nautical sports are honored, but especially those who need the use of a sail. The wind and the waves favor these sports. Besides this particularity, you can practice kayaking, surfing or go boating.
Nature lovers will be charmed by the El Choco National Park, only a few kilometers from Cabarete. You can find many caverns; some of them are accessible to the travelers, and dense vegetation. The park is the perfect place for hiking and for being amazed by the forces of nature!
