We were there in April 2013, with a small 6 month old baby. Excellent hotel. In the past, I went to Tuxpan and two hotels 4 1/2 stars in Cayo Coco and I must say that the Sol Palmeras amply exceeds these hotels. This is an excellent 4 star. The food is varied and each day you can buffet and another small restaurant if you're up late. For dinner, there are also options, the buffet and the beach bar and a la carte restaurant (burger, sandwich ham, rice etc). We went to the Italian restaurant only among the five a la carte restaurants. It was excellent. Well sure, it is not exactly as in Italy, but it was not the buffet tables. The menu was different. The animation is excellent and the resort is not dérangerante. There are always all over the pool to the beach to be quiet. In the evening, there are always singing in the lounge before and after the shows. The performances are as varied (stunt bike, water ballet, magician, etc..) To travel with a baby or a child, it is a great place. There are lift so walking with a stroller is easy. Upon arriving we were in a room with two beds pushed together instead of a double bed. We asked to change and the next day we were in a room with a king bed.

Discovered in Cuba! So far, my wife and I made about twenty trips to sunny destinations including five in Cuba and still in hotels and 4 star +. During our stay at the Sol Palmeras, we occupied three rooms because we were accompanied by our 21 year old son as well as my sister. All four have been dazzled by the beauty of the site in general.
