The hotel is older but very clean, the villas section is new and beautiful and above all the place is very well maintained. The beach is beautiful despite the reviews we read before we left. We visited the Brisas Guardalavaca from 4 to 11 October 2012, just after Hurricane Sandy. We were in the villas section.
