Blau Costa Verde

Great beach worthy of a film with small fish without diving. It was like in an aquarium. The espresso and latte sublime.

A derelict site with rooms not so clean and dilapidated furniture: doors torn or missing, the missing drawer pulls, etc.. The buffet exposed to heat over 30 degrees uninviting. The food did not seem fresh and the stench of the buffet did not invite us to eat. Fish and meat to grill were exposed to room temperature. I quickly realized that food was recycled from the day the next day. The layer with the bird shit were not changed during the week of our stay. Staff attitude was poor; employees a little disillusioned. This site does not deserve more than 3 stars. After seven trips to Cuba, I can say now Viva Mexico!

First flight with Sunwing and we are pleasantly surprised, good food, good flight, nice plane and great service. Arriving at Holguin is the encounter with the customs and is fast route to the hotel about an hour passes quickly with the help of a colorful guide. We are only fourteen for Blau no cocktail reception despite the promotion of Sunwing. We are four two teenagers and two adults and we requested to the booking by email and two bedrooms upstairs, close to each other and non-smoking. We had prepared two rooms in two different blocks, the first one and the other upstairs. After correction, a room air conditioning was a problem and she was very withers so eventually we relocated in block three, the third overlooking the pool, comfortable beds, good water pressure and just withers but good service maintenance. Sunwing we had the mini-bar, safe, towels in the room (different color), reservations for a la carte restaurants and a bottle of rum. The hotel is occupied to 50% as at Playa Costa Verde Playa Pesquero and, therefore plenty of room around the chairs in quantities but the conditioning part of the buffet restaurant was closed and the grill to the beach. The food is good and correct at the buffet to a la carte restaurants but the service is very fast. The site is not very big so it's close to everything, nice pool winding around and everything is built. Only track is further outside the complex because it is public with sections reserved for the hotel and during summer there was a lot of Cuban family, Blau is the closest dive center for amateur . The beach is beautiful but a lot of coral at the entrance but good for snorkeling, almost never any waves. There is a good animation team and nightly entertainment revolves around them, there are few performances of musical groups from Cuba and they were excellent performances of its currency more conventional. Overall it is good but the hotel would need a makeover.

Setion of the conditioned buffet was closed and the summer in the south it takes air conditioning (our selection critètes summer). Be careful with the exchange of money requested and counting your coupon you never know. The grill closed and replaced by hot dog, burger bar on the beach to eat well should be returned to the hotel. Sensitive feet you bring shoes to the sea rocky start. Do not hesitate to give you room to relocate.

Personal friendly, buffet well maintained, clean and warm (in general). Always pasta and grill available at each repas.Belle perfect beach for enfants.Endoit good enough for diving apnée.Tres good show the night 5 times 7.Souper on the edge of the pool on Wednesday, very good idea! Good value for money.

The aqua bar was little used because there were no employees assigned to the beach bar.Restaurant fermé.Buffet pretty good and clean but not very developed.

This is the third time I've stayed here. If you need an affordable, welcoming, friendly service with excellent service, it is perfect. I went with my 6 years and this is a great place for young children as the beach is shallow and safe swimming (we always feet). I went late June and early July and compared to my first two visits, there were few customers. The hotel was renovating two of its wings, but the renovations did not bother us absolutely. The pool is very nice and big. The beach is beautiful. If you want to snorkel, we can see beautiful fish a few meters out. The buffet restaurant is nice with several tables in an outdoor terrace. The snack bar by the pool is very nice especially for a drink the night before or after dinner. The two restaurants (Cuban and Italian) are very good. The rooms are large and the bathroom too.

If you are looking for a place to party, when I went to the disco on the beach was closed. The restaurant on the beach was also closed. However, there was pizza and sandwiches in the bar. The beach is not very long. Watch out for hamburgers from the snack at the pool, several people were sick. HELPFUL HINTS: 1 - Bring shoes to go in the water because there are rocks in the water at the beach. This will avoid injury and to snorkel safely. 2 - Bring your own mask, snorkel, etc.. it is worth it because they do not have a lot to the hotel.

Very clean. Nice site. Beautiful beach with hundreds of beautiful fish just meters from bord.Tel an aquarium! Water shoes appreciated because the presence of a few corals. Pool clean. Excellent food. Spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and smiling especially with a few pesos, not to forget! The catamaran included is a must. Never made a boat as extraordinary sea! This is a must! Tour does not but the comments are very positive for dolphins and Guadalarvaca city. The music is great and the evening shows are also very good! This is the 4th time in Cuba and is the most amazing trip!

1 or 2 additional activities at the beach for those who like to move!

The only negative comment I have to make, is the length of the beach. By cons, it's a beautiful place for diving and snorkeling.
