On arrival, we immediately knew we were going to enjoy our experience at Melia Las Dunas. The neatly manicured grounds of the hotel were exactly as we had seen in the pictures from the website. Same went for the room we were given. Although our view was not the greatest (bushes and shrubs), we were very close to the pool and the beach, where we spent most of our time. The beach was wonderful, with fine white sand and clear blue water. A little further along is a nice reef which divers will enjoy (I recomend you bring your own gear). The food was very good, lots of variety so long as you use your imagination and are not a picky eater. We never once complained about the food and enjoyed the special lobster dinner the hotel offers on Fridays. As for the service from the hotel staff, not a single negative word to say. All in all we enjoyed our vacation and would consider returning. We have already recommended it to our friends and family.

Very nice and great site with wonderful vegetation, the beach is idyllic with its white sand and turquoise sea without seaweed.
