Melia Las Dunas

Nice hotel, clean and beautiful site. The beach is beautiful, the food is good and the staff pleasant. The rooms are pretty good but not great. This place is well above the Sol Cayo (no cockroaches in the rooms).

None except the temperature. Cuba in February, it's a gamble.

Very beautiful beach. The three a la carte restaurants were very well attended especially the "Isabel and Fernando." The site is beautiful with palm trees and flowers, although a bit difficult to unravel because of the small paths. The cleanliness was up although some public toilets, including those of the lobby (the men's side) had a fairly strong odor. Very good service in general. We had a problem of freshness in the room because the air conditioning was not working well after 2 appels'au customer service, repairs were made to our satisfaction. Bars and snack bars are good choices (beer, drinks, fun Guelle, hot dogs, Hamberger etc..) Good evening entertainment especially with groups / musicians.

We just returned from Melia Las Dunas. It is a heavenly place. The site is almost new. Attention, you have to walk much of his room to go to the beach. I got my beach towels after 2 days ... I simply could not believe it. I am in the South to enjoy the beach but there was more beach towels for my wife and I ... we have repairs made with towels! Not very strong for a 4 1/2 stars. By late afternoon, if you're not first, you will not succeed in changing your beach towels ... they were in constant shortage of towels ... The paper towel is toilet paper (not a joke). No iron or ironing in my room and even if it is included in the package, no employee of the hotel has managed to get one ... shortage of iron they told me! They have a fleet of bicycles for those who wish for a ride: These bikes have 15 years in moin, rusty, no brakes for the most flat tires for a few, short, I never managed to in find one in working order and safe.
