Hotel Playa Blanca

Cayo Largo, Playa Blanca, from 5th to 10th May 2013. Third stay here in three years.

As in the two previous visits, the service was courteous, friendly and attentive. The staff makes every effort to try to satisfy the customers. The dishes that offer three restaurants are varied and finished with heart. Given the more than reasonable price trips to Playa Blanca packages, it is surprising that bufffets are also well stocked. Finally, the facilities are well maintained but starting to get outdated.

We have no negative to make about this hotel comment. However, and the hotel can not do anything, some of its customers would benefit from being more responsible. Every traveler has a duty of citizenship to the place where it is located and other travelers, it's a simple question of etiquette. So here are some recommendations in this regard: 1. Be aware that you are not alone. Avoid raising your voice and making unnecessary noise, like slamming doors in the corridors and stairs leading to the bedrooms, especially at times when your neighbors are asleep. 2. Avoid smoking in covered areas (Ranchon restaurants, bars and theater, snack bar and corridors leading to the rooms). More and more people get upset by the smoke, especially in the morning. 3. At the beach, if you see an object that should be found in the trash, pick it up. Post your waste, such as plastic cups in the trash. And most importantly, smoking, stop taking the beach for an ashtray. It is unacceptable that such a large range of beauty is also carelessly polluted because those butts that are numbered one hundred. This remark also applies to the entire site. Do not throw your butts on the ground. In short, everything is a matter of etiquette. Let us show respect to each other. It is your reputation, and that of all Quebecers abroad, who will win.

We'll be back for the food (yes it was quite good for Cuba), smiling and helpful staff, cleanliness, the beach, the feel of the site! Our favorite place, the Ranchon.

The most common .... a la carte restaurant has a slightly annoying menu, lack of lettuce and the occasional shortage of fresh fruit.

Beloved our stay, again without problem. The food is good for Cuba.

Very average place ... I really preferred the Sol Cayo Largo here. If you do not like the scenery, this is the place. Majority of Quebec. (Some bringing their peanut butter and ketchup!). Staff who speaks French.

Staff very friendly, polite and attentive. Place very "gay friendly" for those interested. Beautiful beach. Hotel just minutes from the airport.

Buffet disappointing, even for Cuba. Customer-mostly Quebec therefore difficult to meet and interact with people from other countries. Many smokers, so it feels cigarette everywhere. Butts in the sand on the beach, etc.. -Room with sea view in the main hotel: Very noisy bar, entertainment, reception, doors slamming, kids running and screaming at any time. People on the party bus waiting for the disco between 23:30 and midnight and who still celebrate their return. Avoid. Naturism had a little-anywhere on the beach. It does not seem to be any defined section. A little disturbing if this is not your thing. -For those who prefer the pool is very small and rather uninteresting. Little chairs. -Practice unpleasant and unfortunately tolerated by the institution: The "reservations" chairs at dawn left a towel on the chair (at the pool AND the beach). And even if people do not arrive for several hours. Great lack of respect for me.
