The food is ordinary but we do not lack.

Very nice and comfortable.

People are friendly and hospitable. Since the hotel is not great, the employees recognize you. Very quiet because there are few people. The beach is beautiful. The food is good and very similar to that we eat at home. The buffet is overlooking the sea is breathtaking. It's a place that I suggest and I will certainly return. The site is small then it is easy to walk. The rooms are very close to the beach. The snack bar, they serve burgers, hot dogs, pizza and fries. Delicious!

The dishes are often repeated in the week.

Hotel (Villa Coral) small size with friendly service. Very nice for those who seek peace. Places of "night life" are located in the village of Pueblo, located 5 kilometers. The hotel beach is a good size, uncrowded, because customers prefer the beaches of Paraiso and Sirena. A shuttle (free) gets you there 3 times a day by train. The isolation of the island Cayo Largo slows prostitution and solicitation.

Villa Coral is a warm, clean and quiet. You will soon feel as a family and contacts are easy. There is no hurry to leave once the seven days came to an end. Unlike many places in Cuba, they have wine (red or white) in an amount, as the bar at the hotel restaurant. The naturist sunbathing is accepted without it being an object of voyeurism.

The buffet is good, but limited because of the size of the hotel and beach attendance of Paraiso and Sirena by customers who leave for the day.

I stayed at Villa Coral for a period of 11 days. Of course, one should not expect the great food! We are on an island where food arrives by boat! So, at dinner, you will find the remains of the dinner ready but in another way and that's okay!

Employees (es) are fantastic! They recognize you by your first name and I never gave tips and I received excellent service anyway! Myli towels to the day and evening entertainment, Yadi to the evening entertainment, the bartender at the pool: Giovanni and Alejandro, the best pizza is that Karel did and Christmas with his collèque his big smile! I never felt so well on holiday! The resort is very small but so intimate in itself! The links are forged quickly and without ulterior motives in passing that the Cuban CAD ... the hotel is not all about how cruzing as the others pretend.

The beach is a little rough, be careful to toe, I almost broke one of mine on a rock. (The sand is white and rocks ...) Buffet repetitive but I never wanted for anything ... except that if you are hungry after dinner ... nothing to put in their mouths .. everything is closed! We have booked 18 days at the Gran Caribe Cayo Largo Coral Villa section. Arrived December 19, 2010, the buffet restaurant of the Villa Coral is closed so we have to eat at Isla Del Sur. This part of the hotel is reserved for Italians. These people do not respect the servers and especially not the Canadians. They tell us to go out and go to Coral. Our first meal was very rude not to mention the table service was zero. You are served a glass of wine and believe me try to have a second, good luck. The servers are too busy to meet the demands of the Italians to avoid being yelled at. December 25, the restaurant opens Coral. We are super happy. We will finally be able to eat on the lovely little terrace at the back and admire the sea NIGHTMARE: My husband and I go out with our plates and our glass of wine, a waiter cry "CLOSE THE DOOR" and suddenly it closes the door, the bar and puts the cart before the door dirty dishes. I told my husband "BABY, COME ON OUT EMBARRER U.S.." We go around the front with our empty plates and my husband asks the server "YOU CAN NOT EAT OUT? "He answered" YES, NO problemo. " It is therefore apparent with our dessert and believe it or not, he closes the door, and puts the cart rebarre of dirty dishes. We were obliged to make a complaint. Something we had never done in 21 years of travel. Other people have also complaints about the dishes that were only washed and unwashed. It lifted the heart to see still remaining in the plates and cups. The next day, the patio was open and the dishes were washed. Thanks to Jose, the bartender at the pool and Raoul, the handyman, the holiday was enjoyable. Both employees are so friendly, and human with a heart of gold.

Cayo Largo is still beautiful with its snow-white sand. The sea is a breathtaking color. The immense pleasure to walk for hours and feel alone in the world.

Good buy, quiet and friendly atmosphere if you like. Not much choice in food, but good. If you are looking hectic life, this is not a place for you. I intend to return next winter. Never need to queue for services. Website little modern, but very clean.

Hotel clean, quiet, small bungalow has 4 units, some with sea view, patio or balcony. Restoration minimum bit flaky people. Quiet beach, sand and rock plates. Service very good.

Complex of four hotels mainly reserved for Italians, but I always found my place alongside people from other countries such as Argentina, Germany, etc. .... I like to feel disoriented while traveling and this is what I found at the Gran Caribe. I'm still housed at Villa Coral offering small 2-storey villas near the sea is the oldest hotel on the island and was built in the days when it was still possible to build directly on the range. This is not the case of three other hotels. The Coral is so quiet because the Italians are all found at Isla del Sur around the large pool which leaves the pool, bar and park Coral almost always deserted! It is also the case before the Coral Beach and Soledad, people come here alone in the world! He must choose his place to enter the sea as there are a few rocks, but the beach is exquisite ... hammocks, palapas and chairs available all day long. I was always treated with great care by the resort staff and've never felt less important than the Italians. The restaurant's Coral is fine, but a bit repetitive with impeccable service, good wine and a good variety for me and my two kids, it's not fine dining but it's not what I'm looking either especially in Cuba. The rooms are simple, very clean, rooms communicating with children, safe, fridge, balcony with chairs overlooking the sea or squarely on the beach! Interesting activities: boat tours, snorkeling, horseback riding on the beach. Long walks to the endless deserted beaches to the east of the island, alone in the world! Visits to the beaches Mal Tiempo, Paraiso and Sirena the West Island absolutely heavenly! Sunrises and sunsets breathtaking! What more? A real vacation! Definitely for those seeking calm, holy peace, rest, interesting contacts with other cultures and an attentive staff. But to avoid for those who need the luxury of big hotels and partying every day ....

Better to take a taxi to travel to the beaches of the west (Paraiso and Sirena Mal Tiempo). Transportation provided are too often crowded and the Italians not always polite. No shows. Both complexes reserved for Italians (Isla del Sur and Lindamar) should be avoided because very busy and always full of people excited. But it is not available for Quebec so it is not a problem ... one only has to stay in our quiet corner where everyone is relaxed, even the Italians staying there because they choose to be why!
