Tryp Cayo Coco

My second time was this hotel, I recommend it to all families and lovers ;-)

Date of travel: 24 to 31 December 2011 I did a very nice trip ... the weather was great, as good weather, lots of fun.

Entertainment, food ... great staff .... nice .. the site is beautiful, the beach ... beautiful! :-)

The dated rooms and the smell when you cross the bridge to get to the buffet! ;-)

Shabby hotel that would benefit make improvements, especially in the rooms. By cons, the rest is well-maintained facilities. For the buffet, do not hesitate to take 10 minutes to prepare your meal with a cook (fried rice, meat or fish on the plate, pasta, tortillas). If you take only food in the stove, you will be disappointed.

Friendly staff, affordable ($ 850), Beach beautiful when cleaned, we always easily found shelter on the beach and chairs at the pool, international restaurant was very good

During the week we were there (from November 4 to 11), there were many waves of the sea and brought a lot of seaweed on the shore. Employees are more or less cleaned the beach the first 4 days and the fifth day, it looks like the guy came back from vacation and everything was cleaned. Also, you should not be too fussy for the rooms (our worst room in eight trips to the south). The Combre: one night we saw a kind of cockroach out of the planks of the door frame of the bathroom (I'''' caulked the slot immediately with paper!) Also, make sure you put a towel in the bottom of your front door especially if you are on the ground floor. We forgot once and a mini lizard returned. Speed ??Internet available to large turtle and functional cell phone for some and not others (check). In our package, we only had two a la carte restaurants.

I went to the Tryp Cayo Coco with my 11 years in August 2011 and we loved our trip. There are crabs, everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. If you wish to tour, visit the animator Steve and he knows well and excursions you will suggest interesting which he animates very well when sortie.En more, it's cheap compared to our representative.

Near the airport (10 minutes). We had our rooms quickly. The beach is superb and no need to get up very early because there is room for everyone. The pool is very clean is a lot to the pool that bingo, aerobics, challenges for men and women, dance, music ... There are many excursions and we went to the beach Pilar, there a bus that takes us to the hotel for only 5 pesos round-trip and the beach is beautiful, go ahead you go not regret it for 5 pesos ... For the buffet, there's always something good that you'll love me but I loved the Chinese rice. The Oriental restaurant a la carte is my favorite, the steak and grill restaurant is not good and clean ... Italian is correct. The others I have not done. The snack bar on the beach are excellent, there are hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken kebab, poutine, pizza, fried, bruchetta and it is excellent overall. The air conditioning in the room worked fine despite the 45 degree minimum every day. Remember to give pesos if you feel you receive good service, Cubans are working very strong for us and you will see the excellent service you have with them.

The rooms are old, the hotel has about 16 years so there is mildew present in the chamber. There are two crabs that back under my bedroom door so I asked to change rooms immediately and they gave me another room on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea .. There were no activities at the beach except vollez ball. I have loved music from time to time, animation or aerobics in the sea but I know there are people who prefer total quiet beach. Throughout the site, there are foul odors as there are types of marshes. The shows at night are usually not long but for children there is the mini disco is great and the host is doing its work with children.

Large hotel with a very courteous and polite. Have had a wonderful time throughout the week. The buffet was excellent and the snack bar which is open 24 hours. You can order a cappuccino with zambuca and bring it to the buffet without problem. You should meet Leidys Margey and buffet. They are two wonderful people extremely dedicated to your needs and Brandilio and Sydney to the beach bar where dinner is served with BBQ and varied menu .. The beach is beautiful and very clean. It is cleaned every morning. You can have COCOS frozen by two employees who walk on the beach. EXCELLENT.

You can exchange your Canadian dollars into CUC (pesos for tourists). Feel free to give personel if you feel the service given to you is worth it. I can tell you that YES, they are super efficient

Back to the Tryp Cayo Coco-(6-13 March 2011) I paid for a 4 * but I think having had a 3 1/2 * at best. I paid $ 1,241 (spring break) but up to $ 1000-1100 it starts to get expensive. Dilapidated but clean rooms, hotel in general have great need of refreshment. Service in the buffet restaurant (servers) and smiling bartenders can see "disturbed" when asked qqchose. Still very surprising Cubans! If you leave the pesos before, perhaps we would have had better service. For cons, I feel that it must also be earned. Some are very friendly and smiling, but mostly I was disappointed (servers). Have been complaining to customer service 3 times for; water bottles, toilet paper (empty cardboard roll on media not replaced), tissues (empty box left on the counter, picked up by or replaced), a towel for 2 people in room). Make matters worse, a group of 300 Ontario students (16-18 years) are landed at the hotel as if they were alone and at home, drinking, criage it out loud, monopolizing the bar (and the counter) of the pool, criage into the microphone of the facilitator / activity at the pool, disturbing the peace, rapping on the doors of other guests ... and no warning from security officials or the hotel. Side temperature hot sun but chilly wind, some rain at times but not distracting (during dinner, evening, night, qqs minutes during day) = temperature could have been warmer but correct. Buffet very repetitive (CUBA!) But still very good. Had dinner two nights a la carte, Oriental and International = VERY good dinner and excellent service. Nice atmosphere. 6 a la carte restaurants, 3 dinners can, but booking system archaic, long and not efficient. Excursions; Have been around catamaran. $ 75 / $ 38 adult / child. 8:30 Departure hotel, modern and comfortable buses. 45 minute drive. Large sailing catamaran, but the whole trip / day of gasoline engine with a day of good winds (?!?). Stop for 45 minutes snorkeling, off again, stopping another 45 minutes for snorkeling, with clear turquoise water and fish corrail ... Then stop at the beach for dinner on boat Pulmar; cold shrimp and lobster, chicken, rice, vegetables and drinks. Nice trip, nice day. Lack of organization and it's almost like lack of experience with tourists at this hotel. Leaders should look elsewhere to stop taking tourists to aquis just for the beauty of their beaches. In short, great trip but not as good quality / price ratio of all my travels so far.

A la carte restaurants; tried 2 of 6 = EXCELLENT. Comments received on the other also very positive. PS We still avoid a snowstorm, rain and cold all these drawbacks!

Ordinary room service servers and services received (buffet and bar) for most ordinary. Quality / price ratio = worse of all my previous trips to date.
