Very nice resort. Not too large. Perfect for young families. The architecture is beautiful and really different from what we have seen elsewhere. The vegetation is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful white sand beach with small tufts of grass here and there on the edge. That is its charm. The water is crystal clear but note that when you have water up under the arms, there are small algae at the bottom (this justifies the rating of 7/10). Nothing to spoil the pleasure of bathing. The servers are on the beach to offer us a drink. We have not tried the a la carte restaurants but ate very well at the buffet. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The coffee served at the pool bar and lobby are extras. What makes this hotel special is the animation team. Our travels (6), it differs greatly from others. They are present all day. Nice atmosphere. We stayed with our children aged 7 and 11 years and we have not seen this week. The kids club is stuck on the beach. The facilitators knew them by their first names and often invited to participate in various small competitions (pool, table tennis, mini-putt, bowling, bingo, etc ...). The winners received certificates at the mini disco at night when other games were organized. They even visited, carriage rides, mini-clubs of two other resorts nearby. The playa pilar worth the trip (5 minutes by taxi). It's beautiful! Opportunity to eat good lobster for 15 pesos. It was a memorable trip, the kids loved. We would return to this hotel again.

Some minor irritations but nothing really serious ... When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working in our room. The bed was so wet that it made me sick the first night. We requested another room we got the 3rd day, Camaguey in the block next to the pool and everything was perfect! The algae are collected on the beach in the middle of the day with a big tractor that stinks instead of being picked up early in the morning when there are fewer people ... At the pool, it can be difficult to find chairs around 15:00 when returning from the beach but there is always straight-backed chairs at the snack pool bar. There is a kind of private restaurant on the beach where you can book to eat lobster with a few pesos. If you think eating fresh lobster, think again, it is cooked frozen! If you love bacon for breakfast, the buffet is almost raw ... By cons, were able to satisfy our cravings by going to look a little bowl of crunchy restaurant from the beach by the way. No mint of the week so no mojitos ... disappointing but not dramatic! ;)
