Cayo Santa Maria hotel, Cuba rated by petit_sauvage travelling in Cuba

My worst trip in southern life (about twenty trips to destinations south all inclusive). My family and I hated it. The service was horrible, the tiny buffet (about 20 minutes waiting to get to a pancake) disgusting and exactly the same food every day. Restaurants, not better, we made them cancel the same day by a small paper on our bedroom door. The snack bar: about an hour waiting to be served a hot dog. Staff (even at the reception did not speak French or English without Spanish, too bad for you! It was not suitable for children and even the beautiful water park, which could have saved the week was closed five days out of 7 to obscure problems. No carts to help us carry our luggage to the lobby to start, despite our reservation. Exchange of towels outside the club at the front, so far from the pool and beach. information meeting forced to 1 am at the finish (not given room key before ...) Head Air Transat aware of anything and not at all supportive. Luggage arrived to rooms in the middle of the night about 2 hours after arrival. No food available from 10:00 to 12:00 or 14:30 to 19:00 (the same snack bars close) and long line to enter the buffet. Definitely not a 5 stars. At 3 stars. Never go there.
