Hurricanes

Caribe Sol Hurricane Policy

Hurricane protection is applicable for departures from June 1st to November 1st.

If a category 1 or higher hurricane warning is issued by local authorities, and affects passengers vacations, one week before the departure date, you can choose one of the following options:

• Changing the start date
  

  Customers can change their departure date for the same destination.
  The trip must be made before December 15.
  Customers must pay the difference in price (whichever is higher), no refund will be granted if the price is lower.

• Change Destination
  

  Customers can change to another destination offered by Caribe Sol.
  The departure must be made within four weeks of initial booking.
  Customers must pay the difference in price (whichever is higher), no refund will be granted if the price is lower.

• Customers can maintain their original travel reservation
  

  No compensation or refund will be granted in this case.

  If flights are not operating within 24 hours after the initial start time or are canceled, a full refund will be granted.

• Onsite
  

  If a hurricane warning is issued during the vacation by the local authorities and if passengers are not safe anymore, they will be transported to a safe destination.

  Changes to a reservation must be made 24 hours before the departure date.
