Visit aboard the new Airbus A330 of Air Transat

Last week, Air Transat invited several travel agencies to visit its new Airbus A330, whose interior has been completely replaced. This new development, more ergonomic and with more amenities, should enjoy many travelers who fly with this company every year.

Marie-Claude Desaulniers, director at VarVacations, was among the guests and told us her impressions:

"The emphasis is really on the flying experience, especially for different lighting. The variations in intensity and colors can not only create the impressions of the day and night, but also lowering the effects of jet lag by anticipating the time of day at your destination. Among other improvements, Ms. Desaulniers also mentionned the new seating ergonomy and controls available to each passenger. "Apart from the adjustments of the seat itself, all other controls are now located directly on the touch screen, which facilitates the use right the first time. "

This aircraft unit was available for this visit as the first Airbus A330 to flight with this facelift. This one and a few others will enter service this summer to European destinations, then to the south this winter. All the cabins of Air Transat fleet should be updated by 2016.
