July 31st 2012 - Bernard Prince

The beaches and white sand, this is not a reason not to try new things during vacations! Among the activities during the holidays often tempted, you're likely want to try the experience of scuba diving. Whether snorkeling (snorkeling) or with bottles, it is certainly a memorable experience for any trip.
Many destinations offer scuba diving activities, both for novice and experienced divers. There’s a top 5 (in the order or disorder!) places to know if you want to try scuba diving during your next trip.
Roatan, Honduras
The island of Roatan, located north of Honduras remains little known. However, for the majority of those who have stayed in, the comments are fabulous.
For scuba diving, many consider the corals of Roatan as the best that we can admire in the world! You can count on professional instructors to teach you proper techniques, regardless of your level. If you want to push the experience further, it is also possible to venture near a wreck, for example the boar El Aguila.
If you are looking for an experience a bit lighter, it is also possible to make a catamaran trip with a transparent hull, another great way to see the depths of the place.
Cozumel, Mexico
If you like the beaches of Mexico, but also wish to go diving, Cozumel is probably the best place in the country. There are many dive centers, as well as some hotels offer packages directly. Among the peculiarities, some centers a night diving in the moonlight.
Ochos Rios, Jamaica
The small island of Ocho Rios in Caribbean already has a strong reputation for diving, but also for water activities, including fishing in high seas. The Dunn's River Falls are also a popular attraction.
Holguin / Guardalavaca, Cuba
The region of Cuba, Holguin / Guardalavaca also offers numerous packages snorkeling at the destination. Among the suggested activities, it is possible to go on a catamaran for a day along the coast, with stops to admire the ocean depths and dolphins.
Turks and Caicos Islands
This small archipelago lies on the edge of the Caribbean and the Bahamas. The area is home to Club Med Turkoise. Here also, several tour packages and diving are available. If there long as you have not practiced diving, refresher sessions are also suggested, or even mandatory under the break you want to achieve.
Remember: Even if it is vacation packages, regulations and safety are always the priority. So if you are a diver, do not forget to bring your license and your logbook to prove your competence. Several places can also require a guarantee (like a credit card) before you rent their equipment.
